The Challenge
Proson required a modern, accessible, and flexible digital presence that reflected its brand identity, alongside the robust functionality of an enterprise-level content management system. The goal was to build a tailored experience from the ground up, replacing off-the-shelf templates with a bespoke solution focused on user experience and editorial flexibility.
Approach: Design & Custom Execution
Handling the entire project lifecycle natively began with an extensive UI/UX design phase. Creating a distinct, modern design language involved utilizing curated typography, custom web components, and smooth micro-interactions to elevate the digital brand of Proson.
On the technical side, a custom implementation was executed to drive specific interactive features:
- Course Management & Filtering: Developing a streamlined system helped users navigate the catalog of educational offers. It dynamically organizes user selections, such as location and professional field, to provide relevant frontend results efficiently. For the backend, I built a tailored editorial experience that allows the client to manage and publish complex offer data, such as recurring dates, regional contacts, and specific funding options.
- Integrated Trial Requests: Implementing an inquiry workflow connected specific courses directly with trial-day requests. The forms are context-aware, adapting to the selected offer and dynamically routing requests to the correct regional contacts.
- Accessibility & Compliance: Built to meet high accessibility guidelines, the platform goes beyond visual contrast. Recognizing the importance of an inclusive experience, I integrated a custom Screen-to-Speech function natively into the platform, allowing users to have page content read aloud on demand.
- Bespoke Block Architecture: Establishing a modular, block-based editing experience empowered the editorial team to construct complex pages easily, ensuring brand consistency at scale.
- Performance-First Frontend: A sophisticated build system ensures that despite these complex interactive features, the frontend remains lightweight, fast, and responsive.
Technical Details
Proson is powered by a Monorepo architecture. By leveraging a shared, optimized core codebase with a sister project (tba), Proson benefits from enterprise-grade security, continuous feature updates, and complex data logic, without compromising its standalone front-end aesthetic. This architecture allows for an individually designed theme layer that inherits the power of a larger technical ecosystem.
